In response to a letter that was written to the powers that be in regards to a very serious complaint by a client of ours, we soon had a response in our mailbox.

The FCA states that “we’ve asked them to satisfy themselves that they don’t treat their customers in this fashion”, which is a joke.  “and to address any poor practices they may identify”.   “We  expect all firms to act with integrity and put customers at the heart of their business, and we’ll continue to work with banks to ensure this is understood across the industry”.   When has self-regulation worked with the Police, the BBC, the Power Companies? When will SMEs get a fair deal?
